Letter from the President

We are so excited to be able to minister full-time to share the cause of children in need with the churches of Kansas and beyond.  God has blessed our lives and taught us many lessons over the past 15 years through our involvement in foster care and adoption.

We love to share our story.  We look forward to visiting churches, connecting with families, and partnering with others across the state to help every waiting child in Kansas have a safe, healthy, and permanent home.  Every child deserves a place to belong, so let’s work together to give waiting children the homes they deserve.

May God Bless Your Day,

Brandon & Missy Hoffman

Greetings from the Hoffman’s!

Project Belong was formed in 2008 as a ministry within the local church.  Since that time, the vision has grown to focus on sharing adoption and foster care needs with the Church across the state of Kansas.

Brandon and Missy Hoffman

began their adoption journey in 1997 as newlyweds who wanted to grow their family through adoption.  Little did they know that God would create such an amazing story for them to share over the years that would follow.

Sixteen years later, the Hoffman’s have 12 children, ages 8 to 32, ten of whom were adopted from Kansas foster care.  They share a message of hope and God’s unfailing love and grace as they have walked this journey.

Brandon serves as President and Chief Executive Officer for Project Belong.  A 1996 graduate of Kansas State University, Brandon has a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business and worked in sales and management for 14 years prior to launching Project Belong.  Brandon has continually served in church adult, youth, and children’s ministry positions for the past 20 years.

Missy serves as Vice President and Corporate Secretary for Project Belong.  Missy is also a graduate of Kansas State University, completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Social Science with a focus on Family Support Services in 2005.  Missy has proudly been a full-time homemaker caring for the children while serving alongside Brandon in adult, youth, and children’s ministry positions.
